Default Vector or bitmap

Trying to get some confusion taken care of. Are you suppose to burn your screens with vectorize images or bitmaps. Seems to me that you need to print bitmaps for halftones. OR does the vector program can create half tones too?

Default Re: Vector or bitmap

you can use either vector or bitmap images to burn screens...however the better the quality of the image , the better quality of the stencil. Most screen printers like to use vectors over bitmaps because you can enlarge a vector image without loosing any quality ..unlike bitmaps, when you enlarge a bitmap it tends to pixelate and get blurry.

the rip program creates the halftones, the rip doesnt care if the image is bitmap or vector.
