Default Printing On Dark Burn Outs

I was wondering if anyone has a good technique for printing on dark(black) burn out material. What type of white ink are you using? What mesh count are you using?

Currently I am using QCM XOLB white through a 110 mesh printed:
1 stroke underbase - Flash - 2 stroke print

I am just not getting the quality of print I would expect.

Hi Chad

Burnout leaves little weave density for good ink layering.

Here's what you should try:

Instead of heavy filling and priming of the surface with a coarse mesh like the 110,
see if you have something finer......like a 160-180.
I have a customer who uses a 230t mesh on something similar, and does a P/F/P/F/P.
Certainly, extra labor, but the surface is well smooth, filled, and more flexible to better match the substrate.

Happy trails!
