What do you put over foil when heat pressing? Using a spare tshirt seems to work best because it leaves a shiny finish on the foil but it doesn't transfer all of the foil (leaves some specks) I think because the tshirt is a bit thick.
I used a teflon sheet and works well and foil transferred well with no specks but the finish was a bit dull and textured (the teflon sheet has a crisscross texture on it so it transferred that pattern onto the foil).
Is there a teflon sheet that doesn't have a texture? Kind of like wax paper?
Not yet, I have thought of that but didn't buy some yet. I will try that.
Have you seen people foiling while on their automatic screen printing press? I've seen some youtube videos and seen them squeegeeing foiling and peeling it right off right away. I've tested that and it's not working for me. Trying to also figure that out.
