Default white adhesion to the shirt ( curing)

i use a econored 2 for drying i set it so the shirts and hoodies come out at 320 surface temp. not 385 as the manufacture suggests. when i set it to 385 my white gets brittle and falls like a cake. but i dont know how well it should stick to the shirt after it cures i can stretch and wash test it, fine. but i can dig at it with my finger nail and get it to scrap of at the shirt. should i be able to. im using union diamond white with a 67 screen .
thanks
you guys are great for helping noobs out.

Hi Fourstate

The Union PLHT-1070 Diamond White would be best used with mesh counts 110t and above.
You can even use 125t-200t and print/flash/print for much better brightness, flexibility, and durability of print,
instead of a single, thicker layer through a coarse mesh.

If you wish to use 60-80 mesh counts for white printing
we'd recommend the PATH-1050 Athletic White or the POLY-1050 Poly White.
Those formulas will respond much better for that application thickness.

Note that generally, the correct cure temperature for plastisol inks is 310-320F.
Anything above that will do to the ink exactly what you stated.

TGF and Happy trails!
