Default Problem with Platten Edges Showing After Printing

Hi All,
I just joined here, and I have a question.

Has anyone experienced problems where the shirt shows the edges of the platten after you print it? I'm using a manual press, with pre-stretched wooden frame screens, and maybe my squeegee pressure is too high, but on some shirts (particularly American Apparel or Alternative Apparel) I will get lines where the platten edge was under the shirt. Normally, these have faded pretty quickly, but I just had a client call me up four days after I delivered his shirts saying they're still showing rather prominently. We're both assuming that the lines will disappear in the wash, and he often pre-washes his shirts before selling them anyway to make them even softer, but I'm just concerned because in the past they've never lasted this long.

Anyone have any experience with this?

you can try spary some water on the shirt, after its cure.

i think this i cos the fiber are pressed down where the squeegee has gone pass.

normally after washing it should good.

but spraying water should help the fiber pop bak up

Yes after it is washed it should go away. To stop it from happening on the press use a squeegee that is shorter than the platen. A 16 inch platen, use a 14 inch squeegee. This should fix the problem.
