printing film - one color with fades

Default printing film - one color with fades

Hey guys
i want to screen print a one color Design. im using photoshopCS3. the image is in CMYK and when saving the color section as chanel, the fades doesnt show. im using a Epson R1410 and a Canon Ip4500 printer

Please advise.

ive attached the art that i want to print film for. Can you please advise on how to do it to get the same effect as the pic.

A simple Halftone print will do the job if this will be a one color print preserving the fade effects of your art,,, now it will only depend on how you will assign your dot frequency... (The smaller the dots the better the image).

does this mean i have to make two screens ? one for the design and the other for the halftones.

sorry im also trying to learn ho to do fading prints and this may seem like a stupid question but i just want to learn more. What is a half tone print? look forward to answers guys. cheers

The easiest way to describe halftones is the dots you see on a photo in a newsprint. I screen printing we use this similar pattern dot and can be ajusted in size.
