Silkscreening! However depending on your needs and the design there maybe other options.
What kind of quantity are you looking at producing? what sort of quality are you looking to achieve?
Where is the placement of the logo on this hoody? (is there a pocket or zipper? does the design run over the pocket or zipper?)
I've always just silk screened hoodies and had no issues. Heat transfers might be something to consider depending on your placement on the sweatshirt or hoodie/quantity/etc.
thanks for the quick response!! I'm a screen printer my self, but never print on the actual hood, this project is for a Football team, and they want the logo they have on their helmets printed on the hood, to make it look like their wearing the helmet when they put the hoon on!! (kelly green sweat, with royal and white print..
my first thought was to trace the shape of the hood laid flat and cut wood pallets to fit. sitting here thinking about it, you'd need a left and a right.
or you could print transfers and press them on with the hood laid flat on the platen, one side at a time.
ahhh that's different, i thought you ment just on the item 'hoody', not the actual hood part.
It's possible with some setup work. The one thing you should note is some hoodies have double layered hoods, meaning two layer of material. So if you're printing more then 1 color becareful the hood doesn't move between printing colors as the material you're printing on isn't tacked to the table and can move.
