Exclamation TO UNDERBASE or DOUBLE PASS ??

Hiya everyone thanks for looking!

Ok basically when i print with Red plastisol on a UK 32t mesh i usually just print... flash and then print .... and then cure.

so ive put down two layers of red one on top of the other.

This gives a very opaque red and looks good.

so im just wondering is there any disadvantage to this?

should i be underbasing?

why would i underbase???

Any help would be great thank!!!

Love n hugs!

is the red your using meant for direct dark printing?
underbase gives you the true color on the black shirt. So the red would look 10x better

if it's a 1 color job, print/flash/print works fine altho it won't always give you the most accurate color. printing on a white background will give you a bright and accurate color.

I often printed 1 color jobs the way you did, with print/flash/print. Some bright colors demand being printed on a white base for darks tho, like bright yellow.

Printing with a base gives better results in my opinion. the down side is you are now using 2 screens and have to register the screens.
