Screen Printing in the South...temperature and humidity concerns I'm in the process of planning for a small to mid sized screen printing operation based in Georgia. In my planning and design of the shop itself, the question has come up what enclosures do I need to build-out and which ones I don't. I've learned I need to build a Dryer Closet for my screen/emulsion drying, but I'm wondering if I need to build out other areas like the physical screen printing area for concerns like humidity, and overall temperature of this area while printing. I know the printers skill and technique will come into play with the pliability of the ink, but what about other factors a novice may not be familiar with? Would there be a need to build an enclosure to print when temperature and humidity may be an issue. What other areas regardless of temperature may I want to build-out to make production more efficient? Thanks in advance. |
