Default Organizing/Filing Transparancies

Any good ideas out there about how not to pay $100's of dollars for a transparancy file cabinet.
I found good folders 14.25" x 18.25" for $.45 each. I just can not find a file cabinet to put them in for under the $200-$300 range.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Nietzshe

This isn't something I use at work, but at home I use giant cardboard portfolios for my transparencies. You can get them pretty much for free, just go to any business that uses boxes and ask for them. I store my images between pieces of blank newsprint. They tend to keep pretty well. I am not sure how well this would work for a "business" environment, but it works for me. I hope this helps.

I was looking for the same thing until I realized that a positive only costs me about $1 to make. I just throw them into a plastic tub for now, trying to determine if it's worth the storage costs to keep them, or just keep the files ready to print.

I appreciate both replies. Reply (1) I could possibly do that and if all else fails i will probably. I am wanting to get "if possible" a metal file cabinet though.
Reply (2) I like to keep things filed per job, per date, all job related info "except Financial" in one file folder in an organized and easy area to get to. For office employees & myself. Thank!
