You may need to go to a solvent ink on that vinyl. There are several good airdry inks out there. Ask your supplier what brand they carry and if they have one for vinyls. A Gloss Vinyl ink should adhere well and be flexible enough for that product.

Most gloss vinyls are very flexible. They are normally used on banner materials. Theses are rolled and unrolled, flap in the wind, etc... and the ink holds up.

Most graphics inks are very thin. I would personally stay in the 200-230 mesh range.

You need to work very quickly with this ink. Flood coat the print area. With thinner inks, what you want to do is:

1. Lift screen up
2. Pull squeegee and ink firmly over the print area, you should basically see ink in the printable area and not the surrounding area. Too much ink will cause an excessive amount to push through the screen, so you want just a thin sheen here.
3. Bring screen down and print

With ink in the screen like this, it can sit just a little bit longer than without. You still need to work quickly to avoid clogging, but you do have a little more leeway with this method.

You also want the ink to be a little runny. Not too much, but the thicker the ink, the easier the clogging as well. So I would think the consistency of a thin syrup works well.

This is the material that I print on. What I do is flood print then print again. If the screen seems to be clogging then I just lay down a think flood of ink over the screen for about 5-10 seconds and the screen will be completely clear. 99% of my prints are white Nazdar ink on black vinyl....and a flood print/print flood will cover perfectly and keep the screen clear. Also, I use a 200 screen. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just flood the screen and leave it for about 10 seconds the ink will do the work for you. Also, I do not add any reducer to my vinyl ink.
