Re: Screen Printing Ink and Drying For plastisols I like Wilflex and International Coatings. IC is going the route of pthalate free and pthalate compliant inks without an additional cost the customer. Wilflex has a seperate line (Epic) that is Pthatlate free but costs a lot more than their standard plastisols.
For Waterbased Inks I like Spectrachem a lot. It's similar to speedball, but with a much wider color range, and more opacity, especially on darks. It works on both paper and fabric, so theres no need to have seperate ink stock if you decide to do flat printing. Roughly same price point as speedball too. |
