Discuss the different types of equipment needed for screen printing. Topics include manual screen printing presses, automatic presses, dryers, folding machines, starter kits and high end machines.
I just bought one recently from Amazon for $199.00 when it was on sale. I heard some other places had it that price as well. If you think you can trust the eBay seller and don't want wait for a sale at a reputable reseller, it is not a bad price.
I bought mine from staples a few weeks back for $200.
Haven't used it yet because my 11x17 film hasn't arrived from victory factory.
Yeah, staples seems to be the best deal if you just want to run to the store and pick on up without having to wait for something in the mail.
Keep in mind that the printer is the cheapest part if you're planning on doing gradients. You'll also need to pick up a RIP software package like AccuRip as well. And if all you're going to use it for is printing black films you might save on ink in the long run by getting an all black ink system like the BLACKMAX system.
