Re: Where can I buy manual screen printing machinery in Thailand? Just got back from Thailand/Malaysia and it was an eye-opener. A lot of printing over there is done table-style unlike the rotary-style. By table-style I mean a lot of t-shirt stations side by side, and a fixed registration t-bar at either the front or back of each station. The silkscreens for these setups have heavyduty screws attached that serve as X,Y micro-adjustment. THERE ARE NO CLAMPS! The worker walks from station to station printing each colour, carrying the screen, locating it against the registration bar and printing PERFECTLY! Another worker follows with a heat gun flashing each colour. Depending on the no. of colours several more workers may train it, printing the subsequent colours. One example was a Nike contract sample, print was at least a3 size, about 8 spot colours, all precisely double/triple hit on a black t-shirt. On a table worth all up of about $25 and you get a nice little walk thrown in for good health! |
