Default Rutland M2

Why is every ink color in the Rutland M2 mixing system different prices?

For instance, M2 HO Yellow 1 Gallon is $95. M2 HO Marine 1 Gallon is $51. M2 HO Black 1 Gallon $40.

I understand when the fluorescent colors are more expensive, but thought it was kind of weird.

From my calculations, the full 1 gallon M2 system will cost me AN ARM AND A LEG. Total = $1400.

Now compare that to International Coatings 1 Gallon mixing system for $500. (Although I tried some IC inks, I quickly switched to Wilflex awhile back, I think i'm going to try them out again since there is such a huge price gap.).

I tried Rutland out and I like their inks, but is there a reason why I should spend an extra $1000 for their inks?
