Discuss the different types of equipment needed for screen printing. Topics include manual screen printing presses, automatic presses, dryers, folding machines, starter kits and high end machines.
What is the correct name of those long screen press tables with the multi pallets? Is there a manufacturer of this type press in the US? Are there plans avaiable to build such a unit?

I'm talking about the table units like on the Philippine thread. The screen set ups you see everywhere except in the US. The units where you move the screen from pallet to pallet by hand.
I have seen quite a few of those when I visited China. I thought it was something that they built because they could not afford a real press. They look homemade to me.
There are advantages and disadvantages with this system.
Advantages.
You can lay out 100 t-shirts (but you need a big space) then start to print. By the time you finish the last t-shirt, the first is already dry.
Disadvantage.
Can't print flash print, thus can't use plastisol inks, unless you build a dryer that can roll on top of the table.
Need a lot of space if you want to print a lot of t-shirt.

In the above video they are flashing with a heat gun and doing a multi colored print.
I saw a photo of an industrial print set up with tempered glass pallets and a digital flash that rolled on rails over each and on down the line.

Must have exact horizontal registration screen burn.

I think they use an adjustment on the screens themselves for fine tuning the registration. I am sure like most screeners you want to get as tight a registration on the burn as you can.
From most of the videos I cant see enough of the actual system to get a positive confirmation on registration.
I have seen enough videos from bombed out building setups, hallway setups, wall setups and pro setups to know they are producing multi colored prints.
