Default Emulsion and chemicals in the drain

I am figuring out what I need to set up a system in my garage and thinking about the wash out. When you guys wash out and reclaim, where do you have everything run out? I have a bathroom on the other side of the wall that I was thinking of maybe replumbing so that I can use the same drain as the sink. My questions:

Will all the chemicals be bad for the plumbing? For plastic pipes?

If I wash outside will the chemicals damage the grass or plants?

Default Re: Emulsion and chemicals in the drain

Washing out is different than reclaiming, depending on whether you are using WB or plastisol. Typically, plastisol "washing" goes in the garbage can on paper towels. WB, I can't speak for.

Most emulsion removers say "safe for drain to treatment facility", so it depends on whether you are on a septic or city sewer system.
