Default 4 color press and flash dryer: what kind to purchase?

Hi. I'm in the market for a 4-color press and a flash dryer.
Can you help me decide on a brand/style?

I'd like to print multiple color prints, with the capability to produce about 100 shirts a day.

Any direction would be great.

Also, what price range should I be looking at/expecting?
thanks.

If I could do it all over again I would look into a 6 color 4 station workhorse with micro registration....price is probably around 4000 - 6000 bucks new......im sure you can find a used one for less...also I would look into a forced air flash .......no idea how much that would be.....I spent almost 3500 bucks on my "starter" setup.

depends on what type of t-shirts or designs you plan on offering.

I would recomend...doing alot or searching for used equipment. try ebay

also try this site
thats where I purchased all my equipment and supplies.

what are the major benefits of having a 4 color, 4 station press as opposed to a 4 color, 1 station press?

also, should i look for a table-top or manual?

A 4color 1 station will be slower than a 4 / 4
on a 4/1 you have to wait to flash before you can print again...with a 4/4 you can flash and print at the same time...so speed is the major difference.

tabletop and manual are the same thing.......a tabletop is a manual.....

below is my manual table-top silver press 4/2

Call Ryonet 800-314-6390 they have the Silver Press line, they are great presses for the beginner to work into a larger budget. I have the X press and put out 100 shirt orders all the time... Learn to setup your screen properly and the lack of micro registration won't be that big of a deal. I set up a 6 color job in 20 minute this week. Put your money into a conveyor dryer, you will need it doing 100 a day. I know I wish I had one!

Just starting out with a budget- Personally I would shop for used printing equipment.
Here's some links
Used Screen Printing Equipment

Screen Print Exchange: Your Source for Used Silk Screen & Digital Printing Equipment

Equip-Used.com - Equipment Listings

Starting out green is hard-try building alot of your equipment that you need but cant afford now.
Light table/ Single color station( Hinges on a screen attached to a table) Flash unit ( hot plate) etc

I know if some start-up came into my shop and asked if I had any old equipment I wanted to sell I know I'd look around the shop and see those things that I had to have but now dont need anymore. Right now I have a table top Hopkins 1x4 just collecting dust and just five years ago I paid Hopkins to go through it and refurbush it, Now its collecting dust in a corner

Check out the screenprinting stuff on Ebay. There was a 6/4 Workhorse for sale for cheap Buy It Now.
Workhorse screenprinting press - eBay (item 140335824933 end time Aug-02-09 11:38:56 PDT)
I don't know where it was located, though, but if you've got a truck or trailer, would be worth the drive.
You'll not likely see one so cheap anywhere else.

Check your local Craigs List...you can pick it up then, no shipping. Most stuff on e-bay is far away from me and I hate to pay shipping on big stuff like that!

I don't mind the shipping so much.
It's the 10-20 dolloar packing fees.
