Default National Screen Printing Equipment?

Anyone have any info on these guys? I can't find them anywhere. Are they still in business? Did they get bought out? I purchased a conveyor dryer made by them and had questions.

Yeah, they went out of business years ago. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this company either bought out their inventory, company or something of that nature. They should be able to help out.

I also believe that Workhorse Products might be able to answer your questions. I had a National Dryer, and needed some specs for it, and while it was a long time ago, I think it was a tech guy from Workhorse that was able to e-mail the information I needed.

Thanks for the leads. I will pursue both of them. I got this dryer and the end of the power cord was open. All 3 wires were exposed as if it was wired into the wall prior. Does anyone know if this is standard or should I attach a plug to it?

Yeah, sounds like it's hard wired. Typically these are wired into a box that has a removable breaker and most likely mounted to the wall. They will require more power and I wouldn't attempt putting a plug end on it. I would contact an electrician and give them the specs of the machine and let them handle it. There probably is a plate mounted to the machine somewhere that will give them the information they need.
