You may be underexposed or your screens were not properly degreased before coating with emulsion. I dealt with that issue before and it ended up being that I hadn't degreased the screens. You degrease the screen (you can use simple green and a soft scrub), and rinse clean prior to coating with emulsion.

If that is not hte case then you need to evaluate your emulsion and/ or your exposure times.

Isn't that like a 20 minute burn?

Yeah it sounds like underexposed.

If possible get a UV exposure unit..cost is about $400 but worth the money
Aluminum UV Exposure Unit 20"x24"
I have
Automated UV Exposure Unit Large 25x36"
Love it...I know its some money but 1 saves you time. I can expose screens in 3-5 minutes guranteed
Time is money...

I used a 1500 watt light when I first started. As I recall I think i burned at least 12 to 14 min and about 16 inches away. Hope it helps.
