Default M&R Diamondback Revolver Mode

A quick question. When running the revolver mode, and the alarm beeps, do you have to turn the switch to the middle and then push it back up to start another print session?

Yep. If you don't the program will eventually lock up and will stop printing heads. Then you will have to finish the shirts on pallet and start the sequence over.

Is there a way to program it to keep the revolver going without manually starting another sequence?

For instance a print on head 1, flash on head 2, and print on head 1.

The user manual makes it sound like you have to start it over each time.

You don't have to actually start it over, but you do have to toggle the switch- I ran revolver mode today- I try to avoid it for longer runs. I made an error in the first post too, you have to toggle the switch all the way down, then back up- not to the middle position then back up.

Thanks!

I tried the toggle switch all the way down and all the way up, but that reset my index time. I'll have to try it again.

I dont fool with the index timer. When I have to unload the 8 pc set, I just manually toggle the switch when I'm ready to go each time. Then when it revolves around for the second time, I let it go on auto mode.

This may not make sense, but it works. You've got to play with that revolver mode program- took me a year to figure it out.

Tried it again today. It works like you described! Ran 300 shirts on revolver mode, man revolver mode is sloooooooooow. Oh well, saved my arms.

Here's one for you.
Accepted a large order for white tees. The backs are a 1 color pms. No problem.
The front is 7 colors- all pms. Ok this is a problem, #1 because of the pms colors- 275.00 in ink.
The main thing is my machine maxes out at 7 colors..... WITHOUT the flash in. So I've got to remove the flash. But I will not have a station open for an unload person. I'm going to try and see if we can still grab the shirt from under that last #7 head. We're gonna need 2 men on the press.

Btw- we ran at 58doz/hr yesterday. Did about 1350pcs in 3 hours. 2 Men on the press.
I love it when everything is set and you can just fly and keep it spinnin.

Wowzers. lol. That is one of the reasons I opted for the 6 color instead of the 7. I have a jumbo shuttle flash that I use with a foot pedal activation. I know I'll be using the revolver mode quite a bit so I wanted the 7th head(unload station for me), open so I could place it there. If a 7th head was there, it wouldn't fit.

You have a 7/8 right? So which station are you placing the standing flash at? Wouldn't the only open station be the loading station for the flash? So you would have to flash, unload, load all on the loading station?

I put 1000 prints on it in 2 days so far (had it installed Friday, and started printing this Monday and Tuesday).

I need to work on getting larger orders like yours. Mine max out at 500 pieces. I'll eventually get there .

My flash is an in-head in num2. I have the option of printing on 7 or leaving it open for an unloader. I have the option of moving the flash to any head, and also to use all 7 heads as print stations.
I've got an extremely flexible set-up.
I wouldn't have got this order if I couldn't print 7 colors.
I do need to print AND UNLOAD on 7 though. We need the speed.
I'm working on a diy tri-lok pre-registration system this morning. Post some pics if it works.

Def post pics up if the DIY tri-lok works. I was thinking about doing the same thing, might try this weekend if time allows.

Im running revolver mode on my Diamondback and I cant get the Print Finish to work when on my last shirt. I called M&R and the tech told me Print Finish doesn't work in revolver mode and I have to finish the last of the shirts manually. Does this sound right?

You're right. It's supposed to work.

So what you do when the last pallet is on print head 1, switch your "finish print" and put he toggle on auto and it should finish itself.

I know this adds absolutely nothing to this thread, but...

"Diamondback Revolver Mode" sounds soooooo cool!

(You have to slightly pause after "Diamondback")
