Discuss the different types of equipment needed for screen printing. Topics include manual screen printing presses, automatic presses, dryers, folding machines, starter kits and high end machines.
I already own a small equipment and do screen printing just for me.
I only own a very cheap manual 4 color press. It's not very good cause the registration didn't work very well and for printing on darks it's not really good.
That's why I am looking for a good and cheap manual 4 color press. I only need 2 palettes I think cause I am doing all the work on my own.
First of all I should tell you that I am form Germany. I haven't found any presses here which seem to be a good deal. Most of the equipment is cheap and crappy stuff or overexpensive for me.
I found a press which seems to be very good. i's the silverline 4 color 2 station press from silkscreeningsupplies.
Can anyone tell me how these presses are or if someone knows some good other presses?

Best Regards
I have the 4c 2s silver press from silkscreeningsupplies.com
it is to say the least a very nice press for the money.I put out professional quality prints with this press.even without micro registration , this press holds fit very well also. takes a little longer to get the screens lined up but once there it holds.

Do you use also the Chemical Kit? And do you use Plastisol or waterbased inks.
I got already everything but I am thinking of to switch to another brand of ink also.
I dont know what you mean by the chemical kit....I use the standard chemicals.....screen wash...emulsion remover...emulsion....renu-it.....
I use both water base and plastisol....

I mean if you also use all the chemical whic are offered by silkscreeningsupplies. The Emulsion, degreaser etc. Or if you use another brand from another dealer.
I'm not sure if I should buy a complete kit or just the press cause I got already emuslion, ink, emuslion remover etc. from a dealer here in Germany.
I buy almost all my supplies from silkscreeningsupplies.com
very good customer support and I have tried other suppliers , but returned to ryonet because of the level of customer service and when I order supplies, I receive the order in a few days...other suppliers(davis international) took 3 weeks to send my order.
Walter Schulze GmbH - they have very good presses and they are based in germany, but are quite pricy.
Also you could search for something in Poland - GREY METAL - Sitodruk - Maszyny i urządzenia - START (the site is also in German) this company offers a wide range of screen printing presses (and fairly priced) and they can even customised entrile equipment for you.

My Screens are from Schulze but the dealer sells the same stuff as Groener where I get my shirts etc.
These Machines are normally way over my limit.
I will have a closer look at Grey Metal. Do they sell worldwide?
What i do know, germany did have a good press machine
Theirs are very durable and had a best quality
I had an offer by my supplier in here to buy the press made in germany and italy but i forgot the brand name
It is way much better than what ryonet offers (from the pict i saw on the net)
But the price is a little bit higher
U can also try 1 made in china, you can find the supplier all over the net
Theirs are good and cheap too
