hey guys one more question about 500 watt exposure lamp, yes home made set at a bout 18inches away from screen , im using Ulano QXT emulsion, ive been able to expose a screen thats 16x19 in about 18- 20minutes and would like to do a bigger one anyone use the same set up to expose bigger screens than that, can you share your expierience and time used to expose if possible

1.5x the diagonal is a good rule of thumb.
The further away from the screen, the more it behaves like a point source and less undercutting you get, but it takes longer. Closer to the screen, gives a shorter time but poorer resolution. This may not affect block work but may be seen on halftones.
Halogen bulbs don't give out the same amount of uv as Metal Halide bulbs, this will significantly affect exposure time.
