hi, new to this forum and would like to ask a qustion.I want to start screenprinting just for a hobby not for a buisiness.Do you think it is worth buying a 1 colour carousel for 95 pounds???

If just for a hobby- No go buy some inkjet transfers at your local store and Iron them on.
If used for a bigger hobby-Do some homework and search these boards on the equipment youll need for screen printing.

I know cost of living is higher in the UK, but my gut feeling is still that 95 quid is a bit high.

A lot of people rag on 1 colour carousels, but you can do a lot with one colour and at the end of the day it's easier to print with one than without one (although you can just use a table and a screen if you want).

Its not a Carousel because it doesnt go round and round. So let start buy caling it a 1x1 or a single color.

You can print 1 color prints with a table, screen and jiffy clamps as Solmu says.
