Default Non-UV/UV protected glass.

Hi, I picked up a glass from somewhere with just perfect size and all. But was wondering how do I tell if it has UV protection on it or not?

I've done some exposure on it with F20T12/BL but exposure time came over 10 minutes. But the bulb could be old too... Just trying to figure out if I need to get new bulbs or new glass.

Thanks guys!

I'd say if you see any color tint to the glass (put a white piece of paper behind it) then it would have a UV coating.

Put the glass over half the screen and expose, give it a bit longer than usual because ALL glass absorbs some light. Exposure units generally use specialised glass that has low uv absorption. the difference between the two hlaves of your screen is the glass effect.
