I owned one of these for a while. For under $1000 is a good price if you are getting some screens etc.
I beleieve Morantz bought out Universal. This is there site.
Morantz Screen-A-Print you can go here to check out a tutorial ( i think its animated but it still will help)
The flash unit on it is really nice. Really not much need for a manual. Basically you:
Put the glass on top (leave the shirt platen in there for now)
Tape the film positive to the glass exactly where you want it
The shirt board has now served its purpose here so remove the glass and then remove the shirt board (DONT GORGET TO REMOVE IT)
Put the glass back on top exactly like you had it
In a light-safe room-
Get your newly emulsed screen ready and place it with the right side and bottom butted against the "walls"
Place something with a little weight to it over the entire image thats going to be burned.(this keeps light form getting between things and messing up the burn)
Turn the light on for apporximatly 5-7 minutes
Turn the light off.
Remove the screen and wash it out.
Tape any area you can see light coming through, including all around the edges inside the frame
Remove the glass and put the shirt platen back in place.
Use the knobs to adjust where the screen needs to be which is approx 1/8 inch from the screen.
Plug the heater in so it can heat up for 10-20 minutes
Put ink on the screen.
Put spray tack on the platen and slide a shirt on, wipe your hand across the shirt to make sure it is stuck down.
Place the screen butted up to the right and bottom
Now print the shirt
Turn the heater over the shirt for about 45 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes depending on how far away the heater is set above the shirt.
Finally, Pull the shirt off and enjoy your first print!
Sorry if I missed anything.
