Red face New Medium-Sized Shop Set up

Hi Gang! I am setting up a medium sized shop for screen printing and was needing input on the size of conveyor dryers needed. I am looking at a 3500 Watt Vastec, EC-1 Dryer, 150 pieces/hour. Question: Is it worth it to upgrade to do a dryer that will do 250 pieces/hour and has two 3000 Watt chambers?

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

No, I am looking to do a manual shop. Maybe 4/6 manual press with an automatic flash dryer. I am concerned about the conveyor belt. Thanks so much.

Running a manual press you wont be printing 150 shirts an hour on average. Atleast I dont.

You are right! I mispoke, the goal is 120! Is that possible with a manual press?

Yeah its "possible" to do 120 an hour on a manual. Your question was whether to buy a dryer that does 150 or one that does 250 an hour. My point was that you wont print 150 an hour so you wont dry 150 an hour.

Which ones could you suggest? I have been looking at the Vastec EC-1, but I fear that it will be not sufficient.

definitely have a dryer that can dry more shirts that what you can print. you might upgrade to two presses and setting the dryer between both presses. i wider belt would help too.

The cool thing with Vastex is you can buy extensions for the belt and an extra infrared box.

Or you can switch from a 120 box to 220 depending on how you are set up.
