Default Epson r1800 and Fastkink

Hi All,

It's been a while since I last posted but I've run into a problem and I was hoping I could get a bit of help.

When using fastink with my Epson r1800, and I am not using RIP software, do I just plug in the cartridge in the matte black slot and am good to start printing?

I searched but just could not find the answer to this question!

Thanks!

Joe

The cartridge of Fast Ink will say which slot it goes in. Have you looked into Ghostrip? Its free.

FastRip is for MATTE black slot, try a free download of accurip for that printer here, AccuRip Software for Printing Halftones w/ Epson Printers, the problem with the R1800 if you are not using a rip, is that it will put a clear gloss coat over your entire filme, not only does it waste ink that you don't need to, but it also doesn't expose as well. Hope this helps some.
