I'm jealous! I looked at that press myself, I have a customer thats wants me to get that press so I can do all over prints. After doing research he decided he could not pay what the printing was going to cost him so I'm going to get another sportsman. I hope the press is everything you want it to be. Is this your first auto?

The Alpha, this is our 6th automatic, this upgrade is so we offer exactly that, over sized imprints! I can't wait to see it assembled, 8 skids all about 3000 lbs each, its going to be a big puzzle I bet! Thanks for the comments, lets hope 2009 is good for all of us!
Did you get the all over platens also. When I did my research the cost of printing was going to be about triple of what we normally charge. I was told by people in the know that it takes about 3 times as much labor to load and unload the press with the all over platens. Plus ink and the cost of the platens and screens and all that. My fear was this all over printing was not going to last that much longer and I was going to buy more press than I really needed.

Our new maximum size will be 27" wide x 29" High, not all over but close to it, the cool thing about this press is we can run two different jobs at the same time, should be neat.
22 colors? Are you serious? A guy about 20 miles down the road has a 16 color alpha just installed. I'm scared of them, it's like a chicken hawk vs. a T-rex !!
Do you have the 20x28 sportsman E? or the standard 16x18?
