Default Scorched Shirts

Does anyone know what the actual physics behind why shirts discolor after going thru the dryer and SLOWLY return to their normal coloration. We had a job using Gildan 5000 Red and it took HOURS for them to return to normal. We thought our dryer was malfunctioning.

thnx

Red shirts are funky. They always lose their color and appear scorched. Take a spray bottle and mist them with water and watch all the color immediately return. I let red shirts sit for a few hours before folding and packing them so I can thoroughly inspect them.

You guys rock. I was freaking out last night on some red Gildan 5000's. Misting water on there is like magic, that is freaking WEIRD.

This place never fails to impress.
