Default Where can I get new printing boards / platen in the UK?

We have a six station (6 screen/6 boards) T-shirt printing carousel. It's great - a big green metal monster - but it's old. We think at least 13 years old. In general it's in good nick but the printing boards desperately need replacing. We don't know the make of the carousel (and neither did the people we bought it from) and have no idea whether we can buy standard boards/platen that might fit or whether we should have some made. The metal arms that the wooden boards attach to have four holes that the boards can screw into - one set of two depending on where we want the boards to be.

I have attached a photo of the (mystery) carousel and of the arm attachment bit.

Can anyone help?

I guess so. I was worried the MDF might not last very well. Has anyone had any experience with using home-made MDF boards?
Thanks.

I think 20mm thick MDF should be strong enough and could last quite long.

Popular question lately... don't use bare mdf, buy 3/4" melamine shelving and cut new platens.

A tip for cutting melamine, put masking tape where you intend to cut to prevent chipping.

Oh yes definitely tape where you are going to cut plus
sandpaper the cut edges so as not to leave sharp edges that might cause cuts to your hands when working.
