Hi, I have an old atlas 4c4s press and I was wondering if there is a way to align the skate wheels so the arm is positioned in the center between the two skate wheels.

I have an Atlas press and here's the way I did it:

1. Mark a centerline on your print head.
2. Mark a centerline on your pallet.
3. Loosen both jam nuts holding the skate wheels.
4. Lower the print head into printing position.
5. Have a friend align the centerlines and hold that position while you tighten the jam nuts.

The trickiest part of any of this was getting the "tension" correct on the wheels--ie. making it not too hard or not too easy to raise and lower the print head.

Once I got the wheels adjusted the press held great registration for me...good luck!
