Default Quick Flash Dryer Question!

Hey everyone! I hope all is well with the screen printers out there!

Quick question: I'm looking to purchase a flash dryer. I would like to buy a 18x18 but I just dont have the money for that just yet. I figure that a 16x16 flash should be fine for now since i'm just starting up.

The question: Is a "oven" like heating element okay on the dryer. I have read that infrared does a better job but will the older models still serve my purpose? I'm looking to purchase one of these dryers:

Flash Dryer Screen Printing Equipment Adjustable Stand - eBay (item 300359104428 end time Nov-18-09 19:20:42 PST)

any advice?

Thanks!

That's not the same brand as my flash but it looks like about the same specs with the same type of heater element. It's been working just fine with for me for the last 5 years. One of these days I'll upgrade to and 18", but that looks like a great price, especially with a stand included.

Let us know how it works out if you go with it.

Good luck...Nick

I have used a very similar flash dryer to that for a few years on my manual press and it works great. I am sure you will get your moneys worth buying the flash at that price on eBay... Good Luck!

Thank you everyone! I purchased the flash for even less than the Buy It Now price. $270 including shipping/handling!

I'm really excited since this is a big step toward my dream of screen printing! Thanks again!
