Default AccuRIP stops and ejects film part of the way through it's print
I have AccuRIP for the mac and sometimes it will print the film I need all the way through, but lately it prints part of the image then ejects the film like it's done. Also, it's not consistent on when it ejects the film, even on the test print.

I have made sure to use the standard Epson cable that came with the Epson 1400. I have a 1 year old iMac with RAM out the wazoo and updated 10.5 operating software.

Please help. Thanks.

OK. I have fixed the problem. Even though the AccuRIP was the printer driver installed correctly, it still needs to view a correctly installed "printer driver" for the Epson.

Solution: Open the printer in System Preferences and make sure your driver is current. If not, select the Mac standard driver.

Try changing your usb cable to a newer and or shorter one. Do not go through a usb hub. Go straight from computer to printer.

Turned out for me it wasn't the usb cable after all. Had a software conflict with Extensis Suitcase. Uninstalled and problem seems to be resolved so far...
