Question Newbie here. I have an epson 3000 that may need to be serviced.

Hi Everyone,
New here to the forum. My first post though I've been reading here for months.

I have an epson 3000 that was supposed to work when I bought it off of a person on craigslist. I don't think it does. I even bought new ink for it. Someone suggested that I clean the heads. I don't know how to do this and I'd rather take it to a professional. Any suggestions on who I can take an espon 3000 to, in order to be serviced or "tuned up?"

Thank you,
ShirtCrazy

If you look at places that sale sublimation ink, they carry cleaning cartridges for many Epson printer.
This usually cleans up the print head, Other wise service is nothing more then cleaning out the dust and lubing the gears and shafts in the printer.

You can use sewing machine lube to lubricate the gears and shaft bears/bushing.

You can go to the Espon site to find a certified service shop in your area.
