Default Dryer's Gone Bad

Ok, I have the lil DX-200 Scamp that started overheating, noticed when I opened her, the plugs that attache to the heating element black box had fried wires. I redid the wires with new connectors, but now the element is bad. Where can you get replacement parts for these things?

Next...my flash dryer is doing the same thing, but it is smoking when I heat it up to 500, for flash curing. Is the flash dying too as well, or what.

Both dryers run on their own individual circuit breakers and are 20amps each. Is it cuz they are either to hot in the garage, or they are dying.

I need to finish some jobs before I decide to invest in some new equiptment.

Just need some simple advice on where to go...

What size is the heater element in your scamp? I know that Ranar charges $275 for a 16" X16" panel. But inktekcorp charges $107 if you have the heater frame and insulation.

It's 16 x16. I ordered a heat control switch for it cuz that is where it was fried. If that doesnt work, I buy the heating element.

How much was the heat control switch? I wonder if you can upgrade the panel to 18 X 18? Has anyone done this for this dryer?

18x18 sounds like a nice upgrade to help increase production. The switch was 75 bucks plus tax. I should get it tomorrow.

My flash dryer, I restripped the wires and redid the connectors. I am using it over my conveyor and monitoring for any smoking or burning. So far so good. My Scamp looks naked.
