What blade to use to cut Hartco?

Default What blade to use to cut Hartco?

I am using the HARTCO and I am still having to weed quite a bit. I am using 300g of force with a 45 degree blade. I think the blade is the main problem. I have been looking at different websites and cutters and they offer heavy blades. Should I get a different blade and go to a 60 blade? Is that my problem?

I would try a 60 degree cleancut blade, I would think that would work well. That is the blade I use for flock and glitter, so it would probably work well on the hartco as well.

Thanks, I will try that. What is the difference in the clean cut. I haven't heard of that before. I know when I cut my glitter I have to up my force by 25g with the 45 degree blade and when I forget, it really ticks me off...lol

Clean cut blade is a carbide blade that is strong and durable and will pretty much make cutting through heavy material easier. I had to back off the Down force as I was cutting clean through my material.
