This is a part of their reply that really clears up some of my concerns and questions, and hopefully some of those of others.

"... We are working on an update to this site for customers like you where you'll eventually be able to brand the art4myshirt.com site with only designs you want your customers to see, add your logo and other personalization about your business. We're also considering updating the functionality of it so that when you send your customers to this site and they pick out designs, they can place them in a cart and that cart can be automatically emailed back to you so you can receive all the shirts/designs your customer wishes to purchase. We're still a few months away from that, and not sure that will be the exact functionality we'll be adding but wanted to give you a hint of where we're trying to go with this. Currently the art4myshirt.com site is intended to give customers like you a place/site where you can send your own customers to browse designs without exposing them to Pro World and giving away your source. What other functionality would you ultimately want? ......"

Pretty clear that they care about us, and understand our needs as merchants.
This is great news. I look forward to these changes.

Default Re: Pro World Transfers - any way to import them into my website?

I currently have about 60 stock transfers from Pro World in inventory. I would also like to be able to have people purchase a shirt from me, after they purchase, I can turn and purchase the transfer from Pro world (I usually get it within about 2 days) and then print and ship it to my customer (after about 5 business days). However, Pro world has minimums set on orders (I believe $15 or $20) and the shipping is very high at the minimum qty. (I think $8)

It would be crazy to want only 1 transfer and have to pay up to $10 to get just 1 or more. Is there a way around this? Would membership take away the minimums or make shipping cheaper?

We do not have any minimums but the shipping percentage is high on small orders. Keep in mind that not keeping the inventory has a value in that you will not get stuck with dead stock. That should offset some of that shipping expense.

I was excited about using the link Art4MyShirt until I got to thinking about it and looked in the website. Many transfers are R-rated and I do not want those thus it would hurt my well....reputation if that is the word for it. But with this new innovation....wow! u r working on it so we can pick our own transfers would be hey Super Cool.

Thanks so much for thinking about us.

You had been a great supplier for me for years.

Thanks for the reply . I understand that all the designs are on the page...I was under the impression that you were working on a way that we could choose NOT to have certain designs on the page . maybe customize the catalog a bit..some of the designs I dont want to offer customers . did I understand wrong?

WOW. I went to the site and saw one I like so went to the Proworld site and was gonna buy it to check out the transfers .However the 12.79 for shipping dang near gave me a massive heart attack!! Holy smokes. So I upped it to 12 transfers but shipping was still the same cost. I cancelled the order. I thought maybe you were in Canada or on the west coast but no we are on the same coast to boot.

You have some nice looking transfers and pricing seems good but your shipping kills me. Even for me NOT having to stock transfers there is no way 12.79 for one transfer justifies that kind of shipping.

Great site tho for all the transfers. Would have been nice if we could have incorporated but doesn't seem like we will be able to with those shipping charges.

Thanks
Mark

Mark. We ship by UPS. As I am sure you are aware, they have minimum rates. We also have a $3.95 handling/insurance fee for each order. The percentage rates for very small orders is, without a doubt, quite high.

Default Re: Pro World Transfers - any way to import them into my website?

After looking over ProWorld's site and art4myshirt.com I figured out an easy way to stock deisgns and be able to promote them on your own website.

Buy the design.

Go on proworldinc.com with some money you saved and buy up some designs. I would suggest saving up 2 or 3 hundred bucks and just buying a bunch of different designs.

I got my shopping cart up to $182 and the shipping cost dropped to $3.95. So I started playing around with total pricing and quantity and figured out that the drop occurs when your order gets over $130.

My shipping went from $17 down to $3.95 for ground shipping when it got over $130.

Besides, when you buy the design you can put it on your site now and sell it as one of your companies shirts.

And for those who have an issue with the "R" rated shirts, this method will completely avoid that issue because you will be buying what you want and not showing your customers what you don't want them to see.

Sure, with this method there's a risk of dead stock but as long as you keep the transfers in a cool dry place they'll be just fine.

This is what i plan to do since I'm a small one man show. Fronting $130 for three or four different shirt designs is well worth the investment.

Why can't you ship by USPS for the designs ordered by art4myshirt? You can get transfers off ebay and people mail them first class for $3.55. After adding your handling fee, it would be $7.50, which is alot more cost effective than what you charge now. We have to be able to make a profit, and with your high shipping on one item there is no way. People will only pay so much for T-Shirts. If you could send out single designs by first class mail, not only would we be able to incorporate it into our business...you would sell more designs through art4myshirt.
