Default Substrate Samples?

I work at a printshop and we are able to get swatchbooks or paper samples for customers who would like to see the type of paper their job is going to print on before it goes to press.

Does printmojo have some sort of swatchbook or would they be able to send you a sample of each type of shirt they are able to print on (so you can get a feel for quality, thickness, softness ,etc.) of each choice? Either free or for a small fee you could purchase a sample kit or something..?

Sorry I am rambling, I'm headed out the door!

Usually swatchbooks are provided by vendors/manufacturers to the *printers*. They usually don't send enough to hand out to all end customers.

My suggestion would be to contact PrintMojo directly to find out what options are available.

No, we definitely don't have enough swatchbooks to give all end customers. Though, not all customers particularly care. But the customers that do care and that do print a lot, we surely give them swatchbooks. It makes for a happy and confident customer

I don't view the potential relationship between PrintMojo and myself as a customer (myself) and company (PrintMojo) dynamic; rather that they will be my partner. If I am successful, they are successful.

I certainly don't mind purchasing a substrate kit, as I know shirts are more expensive than paper.

I just don't know a lot about the substrates offered by PrintMojo. I don't feel comfortable placing a print order for a shirt and possibly selling a product that I don't know the quality of. So to remedy this I want to educate myself, and I figured I would try and help some other people out by starting this discussion in the forum.

I will ask Jamie at PrintMojo since she has contacted me in regards to a support ticket I opened.

Thanks for your reply Rodney

You can definitely order blank samples of just about any of the products PrintMojo carries to help you get an idea of the different feels and sizings from the various manufacturers.

Thank you again Rodney! I was looking around the website and I could not find a way to do this. I posted here, and you said I could. I was a little confused so I finally clicked on Live support and spoke to Jasmine (who was wonderful by the way, she needs a raise ;d ).

For everyone else who may want to do this, she informed me that to receive blank sample shirts I should send her an email listing the products I would like to receive and she would get me a quote. So really, its just a matter of contacting someone there and requesting it.

I suggested that there be a "blank sample shirt" order method/form to be created for the site.
