Default Pricing Question

Lets say I want 50 shirts. Can I have them printed and delivered to me on ONE order so that I can ship them to my customers and operate my own store/website?

Would this be cost effective?

Or should I just look for a screen printer to outsource my screen printed work?

Depends on the art probably. Also it'll usually be cheaper to order in quantity vs piecewise. We'll print for you if you're looking for the service.

You will make more money by ordering at once and distributing yourself.

Generally, you'll get a better deal from your local screen printer vs. ordering in bulk from a fulfillment house.

There's no question piece cost drops if you order bulk (very obvious in screen printing), but you obviously need to weigh that against inventory carrying cost. Ideally, if you're operating an online tshirt company, you want to offer as many options in color, size, and style, so that expands your inventory to a point where it's not just expensive, it's impossible to store and manage.

The best solution for smaller volumes and lower inventory levels is direct-to-garment printing because you print them as ordered.

Good luck!
