Default Image sizing for Printfection?

Can someone please tell me what size I should make my images for Printfection?
I couldn't find an answer for this on their site nor in their forum. A friend emailed them a few days ago with this inquiry but hasn't yet received a reply. I downloaded their templates and in adding an image as a layer, the sizing was off - either too wide, too tall, or the opposite.

Do I need to make a different size for each product? I have close to 500 images just about ready so I hope the answer to this one is no. Thank you.

Generally, for their t-shirts, images at 3000 * 3000 pixels is enough to give you excellent quality, although I make mine 4200 * 4200 pixels for even wilder quality.

Bigger is always better and allows for future scalability (like should they ever increase the printing area of their t-shirts).

Like Xeon, I go with the theory of the more pixels the better. I go with 4100 x 4100 and I very seldom need to re-size the images.

You can use Batch in PaintShopPro and resize them all at once. I'm guessing that PhotoShop has a similar feature, as they copy each other's features to be competitive.

Thumbs up Re: Image sizing for Printfection?

Hi,

Thank you all for taking time to reply to my question. I've been doing my images at 4000x4000 with a dpi of 300. Should I be using a higher dpi?

Yes, Paint Shop Pro does have a batch resize option. However, after reading the replies here, I won't be needing it.

Thank you all so much. This forum is the best.

Jo
