Hi Everybody, I'm fairly new to posting here. I had a quick question. Has anyone used Printfection.com as a fullfillment service. I just started using it, but now that I came here I'm beginning to question their services. Everyone here seems to collectively recommend Printmojo. I also have a cafepress account. Can someone please inform me?
I haven't used PrintFection, but I think there are a few members here who have.

PrintMojo and printfection/cafepress/spreadshirt/zazzle are different animals. PrintMojo is a screen printing/embroidery shop that offers fulfillment (meaning you have to buy inventory to be printed in advance) and CafePress/PrintFection/SpreadShirt/Zazzle are "print on demand" services that don't require any inventory and a very low (or free) upfront investment.
I don't think PrintMojo is universally recommended at all, there are different services for different business needs.
I haven't heard anything bad about the PrintFection service. There are a few topics that discuss it in the search and I think one of the founders of the company is also registered here.
I haven't tested them out myself yet though. What concerns do you have?
Well, basically the only concern i have is the fact that they are fairly new to the industry. I'm not sure my shop will have full optimization being with printfection. On the other hand, I read an article on these services and printfection has received positive reviews. I'm pretty conflicted right now.
A little off topic, but I'm wondering if many people with CP stores also use others like Printfection. If so, is there any downside to having stores on different sites? I currently have all of mine on CP but I really like the color choices/styles offered on this site.

Some people feel it might dilute your "brand", but I think there are several people with both CafePress stores and PrintFection stores.
I just signed up for an account today and ordered a t-shirt, so we'll see how it goes

I signed up too - I'm finding their customization of the site a bit difficult I'm new to css so it might be me. I do really like all the color options for apparel though so I guess I'll keep tyring!
I love printfection.though i'm having problems with store editing.css n html makin me nuts.but you're also getting a premium store for free which means you get to offer more to your customers.

Re: Anybody heard of Printfection? Good? Bad?
I've been with printfection solely for about 2 months now. I really like it. I don't really have any problem with the CSS and html but I do have a little experience with it. There are lots of people in the Printfection forums that are really helpful and even the owner drops in from time to time to put his 2 cents in. It is a new company but from what I can tell tell it's growing really fast (according to some of the stats on the Forum) not as many products as CafePress which is a shame hopefully get some more at some stage but don't know when. But best of all you can have as many T-Shirts as ya like. I think thats what I like about it.
I have opened some printfection stores recently. I still havent really promoted them yet, and I haven't ordered any product from them yet. But from what I hear they have really good printed shirts. I like the color choices for all their shirts as well.
They are working on things to make shopkeepers have an easier time to customize shops.
I look for big things from them.

Hey folks,
Printfection isn't that bad. The customization gets a little getting used to (Still learning). The printfection forums offer real good help on how to customize your webpage, Printfection.com - powered by vBulletin
However, im getting REAL problems getting traffic. Havent made any sales yet since we opened. Which is normal i guess, considering its only been a month. But our designs are real tacky, so were redoing our whole image. But i do think that there is tons of money to be made on printfection!
The service at PF is very personal because whenever you send a e-mail question etc., you'll be dealing direct with the founders most of the time (as they're currently still quite a small business).
PF is best if you're intending to sell mainly t-shirts.
The reason why most people choose them is all because their printing quality OWNS CafePress, Zazzle, Comboutique, Spreadshirt, Goodstorm etc....big time.
Only problem is that, like Spreadshirt, they don't support ordering and delivery to lots of countries, unlike Cafepress.
PF is pretty much growing bit by bit everyday and PF 2.0 will seriously shake up all other POD companies.
Why do you claim that PrintFection's printing quality "OWNS CafePress, Zazzle, Comboutique, Spreadshirt, Goodstorm etc....big time"?
Do you speak from personal experience of all those stores' printed Ts, or are you passing on a view you've formed from heresay?
I would have thought DTG printing quality should be pretty much equal, whichever POD company was providing it. I'm really not having a shot at you - just interested to know the basis on which you make your claim.
I have a personal interest here, since I am on the verge of opening a CP Premium store, but have recently been discouraged from doing so by an experienced customised Tshirt design person whose opinion I do respect. OTOH, other experienced people are strongly supportive of CP, so I'm trying to work my way through the pros and cons to arrive at a decision that's best for my situation. Thus, I am most interested in your evidence for your pretty strongly expressed opinion.
I've purchased t-shirts from zazzle, printfection, spreadshirt, cafepress and I wouldn't say that the printfection shirts are that much better.
It also depends on the type of graphics you do. Spreadshirt is using vinyl transfers, which are a very high quality print. If you have a simple text design or 2 color design, I'd find it hard to say that the printing from PrintFection's DTG will be better that spreadshirt's flock or flex.
But it's all just a matter of opinion. Very subjective stuff. Some people will always prefer DTG, while others will prefer something totally different. Both will think their method's are "the best"
One of my stores has made it's first sale and only around one month in action. Motivated me to upload about 10 new designs tonight! Now I need to get out there and promote it.
PrintFection is da bomb! Customisation is the best of all stores and it has the best help on the forums Quality is superb and ive made 5 sales in my first 2 days, ive got some contacts
