Default Epson 2100 or 1400 for JPSS

I have the chance to buy either the Epson 2100 or 1400 to use with the Jetpro SS which is the better of the two printers for this job

It looks like the Epson 1400 offers a larger print size. If you think you might be doing some larger designs on t-shirts, that might be a better way to go (although you may need to use different inks than the ones that come with the printer)

I choose the 1400 because of the larger print area and used the claria inks till they ran out and replaced them with refillable cartridges and the claria compatible inks using the JPSS transfer papers and have had great results. Good luck.

The 2100 if you have to ever replace the printhead it is VERY VERY expensive

Did you use them for heat transfer? I just purchased one and with the ink it comes with and the large size it can print it sounded like the perfect printer for my needs.

I use injetcarts fabric ink and Ditrans paper to do 100% cotton T's 45 sec. press, peel hot they come out excellent
But would work just as well with Dye Sub Inks and Transfer paper

Allan

PS
I live in Australia and import the products from the States I'm that impresed with the results
