Default anyone use 2 inkjets so you have backup?

I print heat transfer out of my house and use an Epson 1400 with an InkFly CIS.
It runs great but I get banding or just messed up printing sometimes and head cleaning won't do the trick. Leaving it wait a few hours usually fixes it up.
I was thinking of getting another Epson 1400 and CIS and then alternating which I use so if I run into a jam, I don't have to stop working. They are only $199 at Office Max right now.
Anyone run like that? Think it's overkill?

Not really into inkjet printers, as we use lasers but I could say that having a backup printer is really important when you do this for a living. A lot of times, our printer bugs down on us and it's really great to have a backup everytime something goes wrong. Our main printer is the Canon CLC1110, and our backup printer is the Canon iRC 2550. Good luck on your search.

I pretty much stay on top of my orders so it doesn't bother me too much if it gets delayed a little but sometimes I'll promise an order is going out the next morning and then at night I'm not getting a good print. That sucks.
