Check out the Epson 1400, one of the best in that price range. It can be adapted to accomodate a pigment bulk ink system.

Just be careful where you get your ink but the 1400 is an awesome printer. I am doing some neat stuff with it.

Pigmented inks. I am receiving my new cis tomorrow.

I am also on a mac so it is the nicest thing to be able to produce all this inhouse.

Get your printer profiled and you'll be a happy man.

If you haven't got a 1400 yet, go buy it from the Epson store. Got a Tweet today with info that it is $100 off. Here is the Tweet:

@Epson_Store: Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Ink Jet Printer on sale now. Add to cart to see hidden discount. http://bit.ly/8T7Nf ($100 Off!)
