Refillable Catridges Pigmentation and Dye inks Hi all,
I have a few quick questions regarding refillable catridges.
-Are refillable catridges specific to ink types ...pigmentation, dye, sublimation? Or is there only 1 refillable catridge and it can be used with any ink, depending on what you are doing. For example, is there is a special catridge for pigmentation inks and a different kind for dye inks or are the catridges the same?
-Which type of reset chip is better? The kind you remove and use a resetter, the kind you remove and pop back in(no resetter), the the kind where all catridges are connected and it has a push button? Any pros or cons for each type?
-What is the difference between a spongeless catridge and one with a sponge? Which is better and why?
-Any vendor recommendations for the refillable catridges? I have an Epson C120 and a 1400.
Anyways, the reason I'm asking is because I currently have a CISS for my different printers, but don't have enough business to warrent the setup. I spend more time purging, cleaning heads, etc, to keep them from clogging than I do printing actual items for business. I figured if I can eliminate the tubes bulk systems, etc, maybe I can cut down the number of issues I have.
Thanks in advance... |
