Default Clarification on C88+

I have a heat press machine and have only purchased stock designs. However I now have a graphics program that works off of Corel so I'd like to be able to use it.....which means I need a printer, ink and transfer paper.

I want to do mostly cotton tee's and bags so after hours of research on this forum (awesome forum) I know I need pigment ink. I have found the Epson C88+ to be a very popular and inexpensive way to go. However I read the "Durabrite Your Fired" post and know I don't want to use that ink (Thank you Melissa).

So I read that I can go to inkjetcarts.us to get refillable carts using heat transfer ink......Is this correct?

With the C88+ printer and ink from inkjetcarts.us should I also use the JetPro SofStretch Transfer paper? If so, is there one type for lights and one for darks? I haven't learned enough about the JPSS yet. Or is there another type of paper I should use?

If I'm on the right track or if I've gotten something wrong, please let me know. Thank you so much for any help.

Diana

Hi Diana,
You are on the right track, I have the c88+ with refillable carts from inkjetcarts.us and you can't go wrong with their HT inks. I haven't had any problems in 2 years with the printer.

JPSS does come in 2 forms one for light and one for dark, I get mine from Coastal there is a link over on the right in Preferred Vendors.

One other note both inkjetcarts.us and Coastal have very friendly and helpful people working for them!
