Default Confused about Epson 1400 ink...

I have just purchased an Epson 1400, and with reading different threads on here, it seems like there are so many different opinions about what ink to use.

I will be using JPSS transfer paper, and I have read mixed things about the stock Claria ink that the printer comes with. Can someone tell me if the ink is good to use with JPSS and on what types on material?

Also, I have read that most people like using pigment ink and a CIS. Does the pigment ink work better than Claria with the JPSS? and on what materials? If so, what should I look for in getting pigment ink and a CIS?

I appreciate any help!

Thanks!

The color is more vivid with Claria but pigment has better longevity.

How much more longevity? Does Claria fade easily?

I believe pigment can last at least 70 to 100 years but claria only a few years.
