Default Which ink is better ? out of the 3 for transfers

not sure which is the better ink to use for heat transfers , i have been told 3 different inks by 5 different people .sublimation ink (dye) , epson DURABrite , UltraCrome K3 Ink im looking at purchasing either Epson Stylus photo R1900 or a Epson Stylus photo R2880 , they come with UltraCrome K3 Ink , but is the others compatible if i need to change the ink system ,Any help would be appreciated .

It will depend a lot on what you are printing on.

Sublimation is used for 100% polyester light colored garments.

The Epson Ultracrome is a pigment ink, like the durabrite is. Epson does not make a durabrite cartridge for these R printers.

You can get 3rd party continuous inks systems or 3rd party refillable cartridges that can use either 3rd party sublimation or 3rd party pigment inks.
