If you look your printer up on Epson.com, it will tell you what kind of ink it uses.
If it uses a pigment ink, you will be able to use it to print, and use any paper that you prefer.
If it uses Claria ink, you may be able to use it with any paper you like, as that is a "water resistant" dye ink. Many folks have had success with various papers, keep the saturation low as red and black have occassionally been noted to run, and reducing the amount of ink that prints onto the paper almost always resolves it.
If it uses a regular photographic dye ink, you may still be able to use
JPSS(Jetpro sofstretch) paper. I have used
JPSS with Canon regular photographic dye ink and it did not fade. I bleached it many times, and it still did not fade. Here are some photos:

The last note is, regular photographic dye ink usually fades in the wash when used with heat transfer paper, unless that paper is
JPSS - test you ink to be sure it won't fade if you have dye ink.
